About Il Corto Maltese (Circolo Arci)
Il Corto Maltese is a cultural association and Arci club in Fabriano, on Via Giuseppe Verdi in the centre of the paper-making town. For years it has been a stronghold of live music in the Ancona hinterland, a reference point for local young people and for provincial bands who find a free, welcoming stage here. Its programme ranges from alternative rock and punk to indie and songwriters, from reggae to electronica, with emerging bands from the Marche region, artists from the Italian independent circuit and DJ nights that fill the weekend. Alongside concerts, the club offers film screenings, book launches, talks and social initiatives, in the relaxed, participatory spirit typical of Arci clubs. The intimate room and the closeness between stage and audience make every gig a direct experience. Il Corto Maltese shows how the provinces can be a living lab of music culture. Entry with Arci card.
