About Ode - Officina Degli Esordi

ODE - Officina degli Esordi is a public space devoted to youth creativity at Via Francesco Crispi 5, in Bari's Libertà district, set in a former multi-storey car park turned into a creative hub, live club and coworking space. Backed by the Puglia Region and the city council, within a few years it has become one of the city's liveliest cultural centres, with rehearsal rooms, studios, a bookshop and event spaces. Its live programme gives room to new Italian music and the Puglia scene: indie, songwriters, alternative rock, electronica, rap and jazz, with emerging artists and rising names. Alongside concerts there are DJ sets, festivals, book launches, workshops and artist residencies, while the summer terrace Ode Upgarden hosts open-air gigs and nights. A place where young talent finds a professional stage for its first steps.
