Cinzella Festival — Venue & Club | Grottaglie, Italy
📍 Italy 📍 TarantoAbout Cinzella Festival
Cinzella Festival was founded in 2017 and is directed by actor Michele Riondino, bringing live music every summer to the unique setting of the Cave di Fantiano in Grottaglie, in the province of Taranto. Ancient tuff quarries turned into a natural amphitheatre, the Cave offer a spectacular backdrop for an event that describes itself as sounds, images and words between two seas. Its programme combines music, cinema and talks, with a lineup devoted to the Italian independent and songwriter scene: rock, indie, songwriters, blues, rap and electronica, featuring names such as Bud Spencer Blues Explosion and leading figures of new Italian music, alongside artists from Puglia. The festival also has a strong civic and social vocation, tied to the Taranto area and its environmental battles. The quarries' natural acoustics and the starlit atmosphere make every concert an unforgettable experience of the Puglia summer.
