About Viper Theatre

Viper Theatre is the historic live club of north-west Florence, at Via Pistoiese 309/4, one of Tuscany's key stages for concerts by national and international artists, with cult bands from the rock, metal and alternative scene. Its programme is broad and cross-genre: rock, metal, punk, hardcore, indie, rap, electronica and songwriters, with international tours, established Italian names and festivals such as Firenze Metal. Alongside concerts, the club is known for its themed parties, from the 80s Never Die nights to Italian music nights. On the night of 23 to 24 August 2025 a fire devastated the building and caused the roof to collapse: the season moved to other venues, including the Casa del Popolo di Grassina, pending clean-up and rebuilding. As of November 2026 no official reopening date at Via Pistoiese has been announced: check where shows take place on Viper's official channels.
