About The Cage
The Cage is a club at Via del Vecchio Lazzeretto 20 in Livorno, set in a former industrial space in the port area and active since 2002 as one of the main stages on the Tuscan coast. In over twenty seasons it has brought Italian and international bands to Livorno, becoming the city's reference point for live music. Its programme follows the independent scene: indie rock, alternative, punk, electronica, rap, songwriters and alternative pop, with names from new Italian music such as Giancane and Postino, emerging Tuscan bands and touring artists. Alongside concerts, the club offers DJ sets, themed parties and karaoke nights such as CantaCage, filling the weekend with a large young crowd.
