Capanno 17 Blackout, also known simply as Blackout (its historic name, still widely used today), is an underground club at Via Genova 17 in Prato, set in an industrial shed and active since 2014 as one of the landmarks of alternative nightlife between Prato and Florence. A venue with a strong identity, it is known for nights devoted to darker and electronic sounds and for a loyal crowd that has made it a cult spot. Its programme ranges from post-punk to synthwave, from dark disco to new wave, from EBM to techno, with DJ sets, live shows by bands and producers from the Italian and international underground and local collectives.
