About Sherwood Festival

Sherwood Festival is Padua's historic independent summer festival, which every year from mid June to mid July turns the Park Nord of the Stadio Euganeo into a citadel of music and culture. Over a month of concerts, almost every day, have made it one of the longest-running and best-attended events in Italy, born from Padua's social movements. Its lineup is rich and cross-genre: rock, punk, indie, rap, hip hop, reggae, electronica, songwriters and world music, with international headliners, leading Italian names such as Willie Peyote and emerging bands. Alongside concerts, the festival hosts debates, talks, the SherBooks bookshop with hundreds of titles, food areas and social spaces. Affordable prices and a strong political and cultural identity make Sherwood a place where live music meets social commitment.
