About Perarock Festival

Perarock is the biggest rock festival in the Colli Berici hills, founded in 1992 and for over thirty years a fixture of the Vicenza summer in the Mario Tonin woods in Brendola. A free festival run by volunteers, it has spanned generations of musicians and fans while keeping the spirit of an open-air community party intact. Its lineup is devoted to rock in its many forms: punk, hardcore, metal, indie, ska, reggae, alternative rock and rap, with emerging bands from the Veneto, acts from the Italian independent circuit and nationally known guests. Four days of concerts in late July alternate with food stands, beer and chill-out areas under the trees, in a friendly, welcoming atmosphere. The woods create a unique natural setting where live music becomes a meeting point for the whole area. Perarock is a symbol of the Veneto rock scene and an example of a grassroots festival.
