Le Ragazze Terribili (Festival Abbabula) — Promoter & Crew | Sassari, Italy

About Le Ragazze Terribili (Festival Abbabula)

Le Ragazze Terribili is a cultural agency in Sassari that for over thirty-five years has organised live events in Sardinia, becoming one of the island's main music promoters. Its best-known project is Abbabula, the summer festival whose Sardinian name means water up to the throat, now past twenty editions and able to bring leading Italian and international artists to Sardinia. Abbabula's lineup ranges from rock and indie to rap and songwriters, from world music to electronica, with concerts in squares and striking locations between Sassari and Alghero and guests such as Massimo Pericolo. Alongside the festival, the agency runs comedy, theatre and literary series such as Fino a leggermi matto. The work of Le Ragazze Terribili has played a decisive role in growing live music culture in northern Sardinia, overcoming the logistical challenges of island life.
