About Spazio Aereo

Spazio Aereo is a converted industrial shed at Via delle Industrie 27/5 in Marghera, born as a pilot project to create a hub for visual arts, music, theatre and dance in Venice, and now active under the name Argo16. An independent, non-profit cultural and social space, it is one of the most interesting places on the Venetian mainland for artistic experimentation. Its music programme is research-driven: experimental electronica, noise, ambient, contemporary and improvised jazz, post-rock and audiovisual performance, with international artists, Veneto musicians and series such as Jazz al Vega. The vast size of the shed allows it to host concerts, installations and multidisciplinary performances where sound, image and body meet. The atmosphere is that of an open lab, where the audience actively takes part in the artistic experience. A stronghold of contemporary culture in Marghera.
