About Csoa Terra Di Nessuno

CSOA Terra di Nessuno was an occupied, self-managed social centre founded in 1996 on the hills above Genoa, at Via Bartolomeo Bianco 4 in the Lagaccio area. For twenty-five years it was a landmark of Ligurian counterculture and a stage for the independent DIY scene, with punk, hardcore, ska, reggae, dub and rap gigs, sound system nights and events combining music, community and political commitment. The space was evicted on 8 October 2021, after an administrative court ruling in favour of the City of Genoa; reoccupied in 2022, it was closed again and in December 2023 demolition of the building began, in an area where the city plans a circular economy hub. Terra di Nessuno is no longer active as a live venue: it stays on the map as a memory of one of the historic places of Genoa's underground scene.
