Associazione Ekidna — Venue & Club | Carpi, Italy

About Associazione Ekidna

The Ekidna Association in San Martino sulla Secchia (Carpi) has been a key landmark for independent music and underground culture in Emilia-Romagna since 1998. Located in a former elementary school surrounded by countryside, the venue features a visceral live music schedule free from commercial compromises. Its stages, set up in both internal rooms and the large summer garden, showcase artists from the punk, hardcore, metal, hip-hop, and avant-garde electronic scenes. The club stands out for hosting cult events and historic festivals such as Rottura del Silenzio, featuring bands like Sick Tamburo and Uzeda, the punk-focused Impact Fest, and Machinewire, dedicated to drone ambient and hardware electronics. Access to live shows requires the official Ekidna membership card, which is mandatory yet completely free of charge, ensuring open and accessible music experiences for everyone.
