Zolfo live in Reggio Calabria | 10 October 2026

Saturday, October 10th, get ready for a wall of sound loaded with Fuzz for the live performance of the Bari-based band Zolfo.
Zolfo /'tsolfo or /'dzolfo/ [lat. sulphur or sulfur]
A chemical element that exists in various states such as gaseous, solid, liquid, and... musical.
The musical form features only five valence electrons, a strong odor, and is often accompanied by a toxic green fog and claustrophobic, heavy, and distorted sounds, evoking an intense and evocative sensory experience. The sound, characterized by oppressive riffs and acidly extreme vocals, transports the listener into a deeply dark and unsettling sonic world. Formed in 2016, the five-piece band has sought to evolve its sound over the years, moving from the primitive stoner sludge of "Phosphene/Floaters" (2017) to the atmospheric extreme doom of "Delusion of Negation" (2020), and culminating in their latest work "Descending into Inexorable Absence" (2024) by integrating further post, black, and progressive elements. From a thematic standpoint, every release is a conceptual journey where the various conditions of human existence are explored in their different facets
