About Tropical Balera
La Tropical Balera is the open-air summer oasis of the renowned Locomotiv Club in Bologna, nestled in the greenery of the Dopolavoro Ferroviario Park. From May to September, this outdoor cultural spot stands out for its eclectic and captivating musical lineup, focused on live concerts and unique performances. On its stage, the preservation of local folk traditions meets refined international sounds. The live programming ranges from avant-garde experiments blending jazz and electronics to African psychedelic rhythms and contemporary folk. Throughout the week, live music comes alive with free-entry nights dedicated to vibrant South American rhythms, cumbia, traditional Bolognese Filuzzi, and liscio. La Tropical Balera confirms itself as a lively dance floor, where the culture of great outdoor live shows unites different generations and genres under the summer sky.
