About Sghetto Club

Lo Sghetto Club, located in Via Emilio Zago 16/B in Bologna under the Stalingrado bridge, is an ARCI club and a key reference point for live music. Founded in 2019 with an authentic underground and inclusive spirit, the venue stands out for its artistic programming focused on black music and its contemporary evolutions. The stage hosts concerts ranging from contemporary jazz to funk, afrobeat, soul, hip-hop, progressive-jazz, and blues. An official stop of the Bologna Jazz Festival, the club regularly welcomes international artists and independent talents like Ashley Henry, Yemen Blues, and Gilad Hekselman. The beating heart of the live shows lies in its iconic weekly jam sessions, a true space for improvisation and musical connection, alongside Sunday swing showcases and post-concert DJ sets featuring house and electronic music. The venue also operates its own independent label, Sghetto Records.
