About La Sosta
La Sosta in Villa San Giovanni (Reggio Calabria), active since 1981 in Via Monsignor Bergamo 37, is a historic gastropub and a key cultural landmark for live music in Calabria. The venue combines a welcoming informal atmosphere and quality dining with a high-level concert program. The musical soul of the venue reaches its peak in the prestigious Jazzmin international festival. Thanks to this project, La Sosta regularly hosts world-class icons and cutting-edge contemporary jazz artists, such as American saxophonist Greg Osby and drummer Florian Arbenz. Alongside these signature events, the stage features rock, blues, and singer-songwriter nights, as well as performances by regional talent. La Sosta offers live music enthusiasts an intimate and engaging listening experience, confirming its status as a true haven for quality music just steps from the Strait of Messina.
