About Barocchio Squat
The Barocchio Squat is a landmark for underground counterculture and DIY philosophy in the Turin metropolitan area. Located in a historic farmhouse since 1992, this self-managed space is a sanctuary for independent music, entirely free from commercial constraints. The live concert programming ranges from the raw sounds of hardcore punk, d-beat, crust, and stoner rock to the electronic flows of tekno, drum and bass, and neurofunk. Shows take place between the large outdoor courtyard and the indoor concert hall, following the unique Bellavita format: no commercial bar, maximum active participation, and the freedom to bring your own drinks. A unique venue where live music becomes an authentic and accessible collective experience.
